Portrait of @ModelMaverick from North Carolina. @ModelMaverick is an awesome enthusiastic southern gal with a passion for tattoos covering her from head to toe. She’s also been an amazing loyal fan starting from my former clothing company to supporting all my current works. Only a portion of her neck tattoo is revealed here. Instead of my usual “crown” lashes, I kept these realistic. I think they add a doe-eyed “blinky” effect to the piece balancing a bad girl / good girl feel capturing her personality. Reds can be very challenging to work with. red highlights tend to get choppy or harsh when digitally painting. I have to blend lots of magentas so the tonal transitions looks harmonious to the overall reds.
